March Move - Explore Cottagecore living and Grandmillenial style
Sustainable living have never been more on the agenda, and with Black History month just celebrated, we can move into a Grandmillenial style and morph into Cottagecore with ease as they both focus on vintage goods – an environmentally sustainable option for us with grand style and who cares about all living things here on the planet. Solar energy, Teslas, and "forever-homes" are not for everyone's wallet and Stockhomed has collected everything there is to know about our new styles. Welcome to March with Grandmillenial style and Cottagecore living, there are a million reasons why you will love it!
Grand Chandeliers, Fine china, sterling silver, and floral couches with matching pillows are only a few things we will explore during this month. Stockhomed will show New Yorkers WHERE and WHAT to go for those Vintage finds and those outside New York or those still hibernating, online resources will be available.
Speaking of hibernating, Cottagecore, another vibe we will explore in March, has many similarities to grandmillennialism, both appreciate handmade décor, floral patterns, and vintage goods. However, cottagecore focuses more on a lifestyle, think: knitting, gardening, or being cozy by the fireplace. Cottagecore puts coziness first and it is lived religiously by the ones who abide by it. Stockhomed will (obviously) explore how to knit, how to garden outside (finally!), and the European way of buying and placing a fireplace inside. Not only does this embody sustainable living with all the focus on Vintage, but many commercial stores today offer a wide variety of grandmillenial goods, some looking like it's been shipped right from your grandma flat, but yet new. Focus on wallpapers, scenic from Zuber, collections of Chinese made china and double curtains (one of them should be sheer ofc). Get those flower-patterned bedding you always look at but never come to buy - These vibes are not only to be loved inside, we finally explore the outside with grand millennial outdoor furniture.
